According to a press release from Woodlawn Health, in Rochester Indiana, on June 30th of this year, Woodlawn Security detected suspicious activity on its computer network.
During Woodlawn’s review of the situation, it was revealed that certain files may have been copied from their network. In response to the suspicious activity, Woodlawn notified law enforcement authorities. They also took steps to confirm the security of its computer network, and conducted a thorough assessment of the matter in order to determine what happened, and how it may have affected information that was stored on the network.
Woodlawn is in the process of notifying individuals about the matter, and have placed a notice on their website.
