The Yellowstone Trail Festival will be happening in Hamlet this weekend. Yesterday, WKVI reported the Saturday schedule for the event.
Here is the schedule of events for Sunday:
All day activities at the festival for Sunday include meet and greets with Yogi Bear, Boo Boo, Cindi, and park rangers; a photo op to Yellowstone National Park, an escape room, the Ol’ Faithful Express, the Ol’ Faithful Geyser on the our, and vendors and food trucks on site.
There will be a donut eating contest for adults at 10:30am on Sunday, taking place at the Farm Bureau Patio. A Dinosaur show will take place on the patio at 11:30.
The parade line up for floats and motorized entries till begin at noon at the corner of Indiana & Hamlet streets. The parade will leave from the firehouse at 1pm, with Yogi Bear, Cindi Bear, and Boo Boo as the Parade Grand Marshalls.
There will be Ant walks at 1:30 and 3:30pm at the Farm Bureau Patio, and another dinosaur show at 3pm. Vendors will close for the event by 4pm. There will also be live music until 1pm. The festival is to be held at the Starke County Fairgrounds in Hamlet. Admission is free and the community is invited to attend.
