There will be a car seat safety clinic this upcoming Saturday, September 27th in Michigan City. The event will take place at Franciscan Health in Michigan City, located at 301 West Homer Street.
The event will be from 10am to 1pm Central Time, and is by appointment only for Indiana residents. The child must be present in the vehicle for the car seat check.
There will be a certified car seat technician on-site to make sure your car seat is installed properly and your child is seated in the right way.
Expectant mothers must be at least 34 weeks pregnant to participate in the clinic, though exceptions will be made for twins, triplets, etc.
This needs-based program provides car seat safety education for parents as well as car seats for qualifying families.
