North Judson Redevelopment Commission and Town Council to meet September 15

The town of North Judson’s Redevelopment Commission will be holding a meeting this upcoming Monday, September 15th.

The meeting will take place at 6:15pm Central Time.

Following the pledge of allegiance, meeting call to order, and approval of the agenda, the commissioners will discuss project plans for the town park improvements project phase II.

Commissioners will also discuss a trail grant opportunity and funding letter with Department of Natural Resources.

After any other business deemed necessary by the council, the meeting will be adjourned.

Immediately following the Redevelopment Commission meeting will be the North Judson Council Meeting, scheduled to begin at 6:30pm.

The meeting will open with upkeep items such as reviewing claims for payment, the pledge of allegiance, and calling the meeting to order.

Council will vote on the approval of the agenda, the minutes from their September 2nd regular meeting, and the memorandum from their September 8th Special Meeting.

Items the Council will discuss under the Old Business section of the agenda includes a discussion on the adoption of the 2026 Budget Appropriations and Tax Rates, or Town Resolution 2025-04.

Town Ordinance 2025-06 will also be discussed during the council meeting. It is an ordinance that establishes and updates the Schedule of Fees imposed by the Town of North Judson.

The 2025 Comprehensive Plan Update and Steering Committee Meeting will be another item covered by Council members, as well as an Interlocal Agreement in regards to Wayne Township 2025-2026 project funding.

Council members will receive departmental or representative reports from the Clerk-Treasurer, School Board, Building Inspector, Code Enforcement, Unsafe Hearing, BZA/Planning Commission, Redevelopment Commission, Park, Police, Fire, Utilities, and Town Manager.

Council will also pay claims, receive a legal update, and cover any additional business deemed necessary by council, before adjourning.
