
PULASKI COUNTY – According to an announcement from the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office, on September 17, deputies with the PCSO responded with urgency and empathy to the area of 200 W and State Road 14 in reference to a reported domestic battery.
Upon arrival, deputies located the victim, who had sustained a minor head injury. The suspect, identified as Nathan Winter of Winamac, IN, fled the scene as officers arrived.
Deputies quickly deployed the Sheriff’s Office Aviation (drone) Unit along with the K-9 Unit to assist in the search. After a coordinated effort, Winters was located approximately one mile south of the incident location. He was taken into custody without further incident.
The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office remains committed to ensuring the safety of all residents and utilizing every available resource to bring dangerous situations to a safe conclusion.
All subjects involved are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
