STARKE COUNTY – The Starke County Surveyor’s Office shared an update on Tuesday in regards to an ongoing project in Davis Township.
Contractors are in the early stages of removing overgrown vegetation within Starke County’s 75-foot right-of-way along the ditches in Davis Township.
The Surveyor’s office shared that bidding for this project opened in August of this year, and the scope of the work includes both debrushing and dredging, in order to help improve drainage and water flow in the area.
The Surveyor’s office stated that projects such as this one help protect farmland, property, and infrastructure throughout Starke County.
