Eastern Pulaski Schools to hold board meeting followed by executive session October 13

The Eastern Pulaski Community School Corporation will hold a board meeting on Monday, October 13th, immediately following the public hearing. This meeting will take place at the Meeting Conference Center, located at Winamac Community High School.

After the meeting is called to order and the agenda is approved, there will be a section for public comment.

Items under Consent Agenda Items that will be considered include minutes, financial items, and personnel items.

Under the action and Discussion Items section of the agenda, the school board will consider donations and virtual classes, before discussing the adoption of the 2026 budget. In regards to the budget adoption, the board will discuss a resolution to transfer from the Education Fund to Operations Fund, a budget transfer resolution, resolution to authorize reductions, resolution for appropriations and tax rates, and resolutions to adopt both the 2026 Capital Projects Fund Plan and the 2026 Bus Replacement Plan.

After any additional board topics, the Superintendent’s Report, and a section for board comment, the meeting will be adjourned.

The school board meeting, which is open to the public, will be followed immediately by an Executive Session, which is not open to the public.

In accordance with Indiana codes, it has been shared that the topics of this meeting include discussion on strategy with respect to collective bargaining, and discussion on strategy with respect to the initiation of litigation that is either pending or has been specifically threatened in writing.

Following those two topics, the executive session will be adjourned.
