The town of Francesville, in collaboration with Uptown Project, is asking citizens for their input on an important survey.
Uptown Project is a nonprofit, community-based organization that focuses on enhancing Francesville.
Uptown Project is pursuing a downtown revitalization grant through the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs.
The survey, which can be found here, includes questions such as how often citizens visit Francesville’s downtown area and their primary reasons for doing so. It asks which aspects of the downtown area are appealing, and what is most in need of improvements.
Other questions in the survey include asking which areas should be prioritized in a downtown revitalization effort, how important it is to the community, and to what extent a revitalized downtown area might do things like attract new businesses, increase property values, and improve quality of life and community pride for residents.
There is also a space for additional comments.
