Pulaski County Advisory Plan Commission to meet October 8th

The Pulaski County Advisory Plan Commission will be holding a special session with a hearing tonight, October 8th, at 5:30pm Eastern Time. The meeting will take place at the Pulaski County Courthouse in Winamac.

After the meeting’s call to order, pledge of allegiance, commissioners will vote on the approval of the agenda and the minutes from their July 28th meeting.

Under the New Business section of the agenda, the Advisory Plan Commission will hold a public hearing in regards to “rezoning 5 acres from Light Industrial to A1 General Residential Ag”

Under the old section of the agenda, commissioners will discuss the County Commissioners’ response to their moratorium for battery energy storage systems.

The APC will discuss UDO section 2, 7, and 8 text amendments, as well as Data Center UDO text amendments.

If there is no other business, there will be a section of the meeting for public comment before adjournment. The public is invited to attend this meeting.

The next regular meeting of the Pulaski County Advisory Plan Commission will be November 24th.
