Pulaski County Commissioners to meet October 6

Pulaski County Commissioners will hold a regular meeting today, Monday October 6th, at 6pm Eastern Time. The meeting will be held at the Pulaski County Courthouse, and will also be livestreamed on Youtube.

Following the call to order, pledge of allegiance, and the approval of the minutes from their regular September 15th session, the commissioners will vote on the approval of claims and payroll. They will review a conference request from the Auditor for a conference later this month in Michigan City.

Commissioners will chat with Doug Denton from Monterey in reference to Sportsman Bar, the EMS director in regards to paid time off, and will hear from Harvey Gutwein on balance in life and business.

Joe Moyer will speak with commissioners in regards to respect, followed by Jon Kramer and commissioners clarifying details on an AT&T facility in the area. Additionally, Community Development Commissioner Nathan Origer will deliver courthouse updates and change orders.

Following this, the commissioners will issue a response to Pulaski County Advisory Plan Commission in regards to placing a moratorium on Battery Energy Storage Systems . Commissioners will also discuss an amendment to their agreement with Mammoth Solar in regards to third party compliance monitoring.

Following will be the reappointment of Adam Bennett to the Board of Trustees of Pulaski Memorial Hospital, then an estimate for ductwork for the Justice Center and discussion on improvements to West Annex.

There will then be a section of the meeting set aside for public comment before the meeting is adjourned. The next Pulaski County Commissioners Meeting is scheduled for Monday, October 20th at 8:30am. The public is invited to attend this meeting.
