According to an announcement from the Starke County Chamber of Commerce, they are seeking nominations for this year’s Henry F. Schricker “Above & Beyond” Award. The award recognizes local individuals or businesses that make an outstanding difference in our community.
This annual award showcases those who go above and beyond expectations to help improve life in Starke County with their time, talents, or resources; not for personal recognition, but out of a genuine care for those around them.
Community members are encouraged to nominate someone they believe exemplifies this spirit of service. Nomination forms must be submitted by October 30th and can be found online. Completed forms should be e-mailed to starkechamberboard@gmail.com, or sent via snail mail to 400 North Heaton Street, Knox Indiana, 46534.
The award will be presented at the Chamber’s annual Schricker Dinner, which celebrates local leaders who embody the motto “Service Before Self.”
