
KNOX – According to an announcement from the Starke County Auditor, the Starke County Commissioners will hold a meeting this upcoming Monday, November 3rd, at 5pm Central Time.
The meeting will open with a presentation from the Starke County Economic Development foundation, in regards to a land swap agreement. Next will be Starke County Sheriff and a representative from the Starke County Jail to discuss metal detectors for county facilities.
Following will be a presentation from the IT Director, with updates to the county phone system and a discussion of county software with department heads.
Commissioners will then discuss a farmland lease agreement, and will receive a bank reconciliation report from the Treasurer.
The next two guests will both be from the Park Board, to discuss with commissioners office space and a key for an employee, as well as the electrical work at Bass Lake Campground.
Following those agenda items, commissioners will review vendor and payroll claims, and the October 20th meeting minutes, along with any other business that may come before the board at that time.
