
According to the Starke County Auditor’s Office, the Starke County Commissioners will hold a meeting this upcoming Monday, October 6th. The meeting will be held at 5pm Central Time.
According to the agenda, commissioners will hear a bid opening for reassessment from the assessor, as well as discuss a lease agreement for 25 acres at Hamlet Industrial Park. The city treasurer will discuss bank reconciliation with commissioners, before a discussion between the highway superintendent and commissioners in regards to Frontage Road in Davis Township, and a private road in the Hamlet Industrial Park.
Sheriff Jack Rosa will discuss metal detectors in Annex 1, and the employee appreciation dinner will be discussed as well as the annexation of the Hamlet water tower.
Prosecutor Leslie Baker will present an opioid funding request, and California Township Trustee Shari Bartoli will present a capital improvement plan.
Other items that will be discussed with commissioners include the purchase of cardiac monitors, a proposal for Shewski Road, and discussion of an advisory board appointment.
After vendor claims, payroll claims, the approval of the minutes from their September 15th meeting, and any other business that may come before the board, the meeting will be adjourned.
