Starke County Community Services has created a space for those who are living with Alzheimer’s or dementia to find community with each other.
Every Monday from 1-2pm Central Time, Starke County Community Services is hosting a gathering for people with Alzheimer’s or dementia and their caretakers. Starke County Community Services is located at 311 East Culver road in Knox.
There will be activities such as adult coloring sheets and games for those who would like an activity. There will also be snacks and water available.
These meet-ups are open to anyone in or outside of Knox. Those who are in need of transportation can call the agency to see if there is availability; though Mondays can be a busy day for transportation. Anyone with questions about this new local resource can call 574-772-7070.
