There are three meetings in Starke County that will be taking place tomorrow, Wednesday October 8th.
There will be an executive meeting for the Starke County Plan Commission, scheduled for 5:15pm Central Time. In accordance with Indiana codes, it has been shared that the meeting will be in regards to receiving information about and interviewing prospective employees of the county. The public is not invited to attend this meeting.
Beginning at 6pm will be the Planning Commission meeting. The Commissioners will discuss several topics, including the hiring of a Starke County Building Inspector, updates from Code Enforcement, and the Hoosier Solar Permit Renewal. They will visit the progress on the Solar Ordinance Draft, as well as the Data Center Moratorium Draft. The public is invited to attend this meeting.
Beginning at 7pm, or directly after the Planning Commission meeting is adjourned, the Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a regular meeting. They will discuss two variances; one in Walkerton and one in North Judson. The public is invited to attend this meeting as well.
