The Winamac Volunteer Fire Department has shared their statistics for calls for service from the month of September.
According to the information shared, WVFD responded to 36 calls for medical assist with Pulaski County EMS. They responded to 3 vehicle accidents, 2 automated fire alarms, and 2 illegal burnings. There was 1 incidence of smoke in a house in September, as well as 1 grass fire and 1 vehicle fire. There was 1 call that was dispatched and then cancelled enroute.
The WVFD held 2 department meetings in September, and 2 fire safety events. They shared that their total events and calls for service were 51 for the month of September.
