Community Services of Starke County begins week-long radiothon today

Today, Monday, November 3rd, kicks off Community Services of Starke County’s week-long radiothon event.

All throughout this week, Community Services is raising funding to keep providing important services to Starke County Residents.

Community Services has been in Knox for nearly 50 years, serving people of all ages and from all walks of life. Throughout the week during their radiothon, you will learn more about all of the work they do to help our community thrive.

Two of the many services they offer are public transportation for any age, and of course the local food pantry. Community Services offers transportation Monday through Friday from 8am – 4pm. They have $3 round trip fares for transportation within Center Township general public, as well as transportation for Medicaid clients and out-of-county trips.

Our local food pantry, run by Community Services, helps ensure those in our community who need food resources are able to find them. They accept food donations and run on volunteer work.
