KNOX – The City of Knox would like to remind citizens that the city’s annual Hometown Christmas Peppermint Parade is coming up soon, and entry forms are now open for parade entries.
The parade is set for Saturday, December 6th, at 4pm Central Time in Knox, with line-up beginning at 3:30pm. The deadline to submit an entry form is Wednesday, November 26th, and while there is no entry fee, late entries will not be accepted.
This year’s parade route will follow the same path as in previous years, but it will conclude at the Community Center rather than Wythogan Park.
Parade organizers are reminding participants to keep gaps between entries to no more than 25 feet, noting that officials will be on-site to help manage spacing. A reviewing stand at Lake and Main Streets will serve as the judging area, and all entries must be decorated.
Additionally, the city emphasizes that all performances, acts, and demonstrations must be completed while moving forward — no stopping along the route will be permitted.
Completed applications should be mailed to the Knox Mayor’s Office at 101 West Washington Street, Knox, Indiana 46534.
