The Pulaski County Council will be holding a regular meeting this evening, Monday, November 10th. The meeting will begin at 6pm Eastern Time and will be held at the Pulaski County Courthouse.
The meeting will open with a special recognition from the Pulaski County EMS Director, honoring a cardiac arrest survivor. Next, the Sheriff will discuss pension and longevity pay with councilors, followed by the County Assessor discussing pictometry services with the councilors. Pictometry is a system that provides high-resolution aerial photographs of properties. Following that, the Commission President will speak about an ordinance related to virtual meetings.
Council members will review and vote to approve minutes from their October 13th meeting, as well as consider a revised salary and wage ordinance.
Multiple fund transfers are on the agenda, including adjustments for the Sheriff’s Department, EMS, Probation, Veterans Services, LEPC, Extension, Highway, and Building departments.
The council will also consider and vote on additional appropriations for Veterans Services, the Sheriff’s Office, Drainage Board, and EMS, including over $264,000 for new EMS vehicles.
Following a section for public comment and any other business that may come before the board, the meeting will be adjourned.
