Community Services of Starke County continues their week-long radiothon this week, and it’s your opportunity to give back to an organization that has been providing for the community for over 47 years.
According to Community Services, the economy, government cuts, and growing needs in small communities such as ours makes it financially difficult to meet the needs of Starke County residents. Those who pledge or donate during the radio-thon are helping Community Services, help others. Your donation could be helping provide transportation for a life-saving doctor’s appointment, could be providing food for a hungry child, could be helping local senior citizens receive proper nutrition and socialization, or so many other things.
