SAN PIERRE – A Mobile Food Pantry Distribution is scheduled to take place at the San Pierre Fire Department on Friday, December 12 from 10 a.m. Central until 12 p.m. Central, while supplies last.

To allow for a safer line-up, the San Pierre Volunteer Fire Department representatives are asking for people to refrain from lining up prior to 9 a.m. Central. Those lined up prior to 9 a.m. Central will be asked to pull away until it is time to start lining up.
Signs will be posted to direct traffic but according to San Pierre FD officials, cars will turn off US 421 on to Ann Street and then turn on to Webster Street where they will wait until they’re directed to pull onto Eliza Street for the distribution at the San Pierre Fire Department.
This distribution will serve 200 households. This event sponsored by the Starke County Health Department and Starke County Community Foundation and is made possible thanks to volunteers from those organizations, as well as the San Pierre Volunteer Fire Department and San Pierre Parks and Recreation Society.
