North Judson-San Pierre students had multiple unique, hands-on learning opportunities this week.

On Wednesday, December 3rd, North Judson High School shared that a representative from Financial Partners visited their Personal Finance class and shared valuable insights on choosing a career path, understanding lifetime earnings, and building strong habits for a successful retirement. Students in class learned and discussed what it takes to retire comfortably, and they left the presentation more prepared for their financial futures.

Additionally, on Thursday, December 4th, North Judson San Pierre Business students were able to attend a real-world business learning program at Valparaiso University. The Business Model Canvas Certificate Program teaches students how to break down a business idea into key components, identify customers and value propositions, understand revenue streams and cost structure, and think like entrepreneurs and problem-solvers.

The high school shared that they are proud of their students for taking steps in preparing for their futures, from entrepreneurship to retirement planning.
