The La Porte County Health Department has announced a free, hands-on CPR training class to take place next Thursday in Michigan City.
The training will take place this upcoming Thursday, January 15th from 11am-1pm Central Time at Grace Learning Center, located at 1007 West 8th Street in Michigan City.
The training will be presented by the Michigan City Fire Department and attendees will learn when and how to call for help, as well as how to perform CPR, including compressions and breath.
The class will also cover using an AED effectively, and what to do if you are alone in an emergency.
