Starke County’s travel status lowers to Advisory Level

Yesterday morning, Starke County Emergency Management announced that the county’s travel status would be lowering back to an “Advisory Level” or “YELLOW” travel status.

The announcement stated that a yellow, or Advisory Level, is the lowest level of local travel advisory, which means that some routine travel routes or activities may be restricted in certain areas, and individuals should use caution while traveling and avoid hazardous areas.

La Porte and Pulaski Counties are also currently in a Yellow, or Advisory Level travel status.
