According to a press release from the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, on Sunday, February 21st around 1:20am, an agency Deputy conducted a traffic stop near King and 7th Roads north of Plymouth.
The driver of the vehicle was identified as 39-year-old Kyle Lisac from Knox. There was also passenger in the vehicle, identified as 48-year-old Rachel Berdine from Monterey.
During the stop, K9 Deputy Diesel alerted to the presence of narcotic odors inside the vehicle. A probable cause search resulted in the location of multiple firearms, suspected fentanyl, methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia.
Both occupants of the vehicle were booked into the Marshall County Jail on Possession of Methamphetamine, more than 28 grams, which is a Level 3 Felony; Possession of Cocaine or a Narcotic Drug, less than 5 grams and an Enhancing Circumstance Applies, a Level 5 Felony; and Possession of Paraphernalia, a Class C Misdemeanor.
Both Lisac and Berdine were issued $40,000 bonds.
This is a reminder that all suspects are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
