
The Starke County Commissioners will hold a regular meeting this upcoming Tuesday, February 17th.
The meeting will take place at 8:30am Central Time, at the Starke County Annex Building at 53 East Mound Street in Knox.
Commissioners will receive a monthly report from EMS, and will discuss extensions on two moratoriums; one for Battery Energy Storage Systems, and one for Commercial Solar Energy Systems.
Commissioners will receive the 2025 annual report from the Park Department, and will discuss pre-trial EN fees with Community Corrections.
The board will discuss two new employees with a representative from Purdue, and will have a discussion on FOIA requests and voter information.
There will be a 2nd reading of an ordinance, as well as a return to a conversation on voting machines that was tabled from a previous meeting.
Also listed on the agenda for discussion is VPN or remote access to county servers, a combination of job descriptions for the highway department, and monthly reporting from the Economic Development Foundation.
Commissioners will address vendor and payroll claims, vote on the approval of minutes from their February 2nd meeting, and address any other business that may come before them before adjourning the meeting.
