The Knox Mayor’s Office released the Mayor’s Report from the City Council meeting that took place February 24th.
The report has several notes from Mayor Estok, including information about the downtown Façade Grant Program.
The façade program provides matching funds to property owners and tenants for making exterior building improvements.
The grant program will open April 1st and close September 1st. The program is an 80-20 program with the Knox Redevelopment Commission, meaning the Commission will do a 20% match of up to $10,000.
Eligible properties for the grant matching program must be in the defined downtown area that encompasses Washington Street to Bender, and Pearl Street to Shield.
Applications for the Façade Grant Program can be found at the Mayor’s Office in City Hall, at 101 West Washington Street in Knox.
