
The Town of Francesville has announced dates and guidelines for its dumpster days.
According to the announcement, dumpster days will be May 14th-16th, from 8am – 10pm Eastern Time, with dumpsters being located in the building at the Von Tobel Lot. The lot is located on the corner of James and South Bill Street in Francesville.
This event is for residents of the town of Francesville only, and is a first-come, first-served basis until the dumpsters are full.
Items that are acceptable to be dumped include furniture such as mattresses and box springs, couches and recliners, and tables and chairs. Household items, clothing, and junk are acceptable, as well as light construction debris such as drywall, flooring, and lumber.
Items that should not be dumped include tires, batteries, and electronics such as TVs, appliances, or treadmills.
Paint should not be dumped, nor should bulk liquids such as grease, oil, solvents, or chemicals. No hazardous waste, and no yard waste such as shrubs, tree limbs, or grass clippings. No cement, gravel, dirt, bricks, or shingles should be dumped.
The town of Francesville stated that it will continue to remind citizens of the upcoming dumpster days as the dates get closer.
