Starke County Commissioners to hold 3 meetings tomorrow

The Starke County Commissioners will be holding three meetings tomorrow, Friday March 27th.

They will hold an executive session, followed by a regular meeting, followed by a joint session with Starke County councilors.

The executive session is scheduled to begin at 1pm Central Time in the Commissioners meeting room.

Topics at the executive session, which is not open to the public, will be to receive information concerning an individual’s alleged misconduct, and to discuss a job performance evaluation, or employment matters of individual employees.

The regular meeting, which is open to the public, is scheduled to begin at 1:30pm Central Time and will take place in the Annex 1 Meeting Room, located at 53 East Mound Street in Knox.

The meeting will open with a discussion on the funding of an attorney for the Board of Zoning Appeals in matters of litigation.

The following topic will be in regards to a stop sign at 400 South, traveling eastbound from the Bass Lake Cemetery to 700.

Discussion will be had on a metal detector at the Courthouse, and the Capital Improvement plan.

After any other items that comes before commissioners, the meeting will be adjourned.

There will also be a joint session of the Starke County Commissioners and the Starke County Council tomorrow afternoon beginning at 3pm, also in the Annex 1 meeting room.

The topic of this meeting will be a contract renewal with the hospital board.
