An announcement made this week by the City of Knox shares dates for 2026 city-wide yard sales and dumpster days.
The Spring Clean-Up Dumpster Days have been scheduled for Saturday, April 25th from 8am – 5pm Central Time; and Sunday, April 26th from 11am – 5pm Central Time at Wythogan Park.
Residents will be required to provide a valid driver’s license or ID AND a current Knox utility bill in order to dispose of their items. This service is provided for City residents only; businesses and contractors will not be allowed to discard material at this event.
The announcement goes on to state: The City Wide Yard Sales have been scheduled for May 14th, 15th, and 16th of this year. To get your sale listed on the map, please call the Mayor’s office by Friday, May 8th at 772-4553.
Maps will be available at City Hall beginning May 14th and 15th from 8am – 4pm Central Time. Signs for the sales may be purchased at City Hall for $0.50 each. No yard sale permits are required for these dates.
