The Starke County Sheriff’s Office recently reported that 7 participants of its FARM and RWI programs recently completed a certification course.
FARM stands for Fostering A Recovery Mentality, and is a rehabilitation program in Starke County where inmates participate in hands-on activities that teach responsibility, work skills, and promote positive behavior and provide routine and structure.
The seven participants completed a two-week Certified Logistics Technician Course, provided by Workforce Education Consultants. Workforce Education Consultants provides job training and certification programs.
The announcement from the Sheriff’s Office ended with congratulations to the participants for completing the course.
