Food entrepreneur workshop in Francesville April 9

Purdue University is hosting a workshop for budding food entrepreneurs, farmers, and agriculture and produce. The workshop will be held tomorrow, Thursday April 9th and will take place from 8:30am to noon Eastern Time in Francesville.

The workshop is presented by KIRPC Ag Strategy and Purdue University, and will teach attendees the ins and outs of launching a food-related business. Attendees will be able to connect with experts in the field, get practical tips, and meet fellow food lovers.

The first workshop session will help local food producers prepare to sell direct, into wholesale markets, or to scale into a full food brand.

Attendees will learn how the food industry works, what makes a product market-ready, and how to scale from home production to commercial kitchens, among other topics.
