The Starke County America 250 Committee and the Starke County Parks Department are hosting a free historical reenactment next weekend.
Knox Masonic Lodge #639 and North Judson Masonic Lodge #438 will be presenting a historic reenactment of the Boston Tea Party. The reenactment is free and open to the public.
It will take place Saturday, May 9th, at Bass Lake Beach, located at 5837 South State Road 10 in Knox. Food Trucks and vendors will be on scene from 5-7pm Central Time, with the reenactment itself scheduled to begin at 7pm.
The reenactment will be followed by fireworks to take place at dusk.
The community is invited to attend this historic reenactment event as part of America’s 250th anniversary celebrations.
