Residents in Starke County have the opportunity to hear directly from local candidates tonight during a community “Meet the Candidates” event.
Hosted by the City of Knox, the Starke County Chamber of Commerce, The Leader, and WKVI, the event gives voters a chance to learn more about those running for local office and the issues shaping the community.
Doors will open at 4pm Central Time, with the program beginning at 5pm. It will be held at the Nancy J. Dembowski Community Center, located at 55 East Lake Street in Knox.
Candidates will be available to speak and share campaign materials, and will answer pre-submitted questions from community members. Organizers say questions can be emailed to the Chamber through 3pm Central Time today at info@starkecountychamber.com.
For those unable to attend in person, the event will also be broadcast live on WKVI at 99.3 FM and streamed on Facebook and YouTube.
Residents are encouraged to tune in, stay informed, and participate in the conversation about the future of Starke County.
