The town of North Judson has announced that its town council will be holding a meeting this upcoming week.
The meeting is scheduled for Monday, May 4th at 6:30pm Central Time and will be held at 310 Lane Street in North Judson.
After reviewing claims and reciting the pledge of allegiance, the meeting will be called to order. Councilors will vote on the approval of the agenda, as well as the minutes from its April 20th meeting.
Under the Old Business section of the agenda, councilors will discuss the 2026 Fiscal Sustainability Plan, including utility rates, capital assets, and a budget update.
Councilors will also hear an update for the 2026 Highland Cemetery Redevelopment project.
Under New Business, Councilors will be introduced to a new ordinance, Ordinance number 2026-07. This ordinance proposes an amendment to the Waterworks rates and charges.
After departmental and representative reports, a legal update, and any additional business deemed necessary by the Council, councilors will handle the payment of claims and adjourn the meeting.
