Pulaski County Advisory Plan Commission has open seat

Pulaski County’s Building and Planning Department has announced that it is accepting applications to fill a commissioner-appointed vacancy on the Pulaski County Advisory Plan Commission.

The term lasts through the first Monday of January 2027, at which time the member may possibly serve a full four-year term upon a reappointment by the Commissioners.

In accordance with Indiana codes, this vacancy must be filled by a person who is either a Democrat or independent (based on most recent primary-election voting, or Party-chair certification at the chair’s discretion); and either lives within the County’s planning and zoning jurisdiction (not in Winamac or Francesville, within either town’s 2-mile extraterritorial jurisdiction), or lives within Winamac or Francesville jurisdiction and owns real property within the county’s jurisdiction.

Applications can be obtained and returned to Building Inspector and Plan Administrator Karla Redweik by 4pm Eastern Time Friday, May 1st.
