The Starke County Board of Zoning Appeals will be holding an orientation and training session to take place tomorrow, April 3rd.
The training will begin at 5pm Central Time, and will take place at the Annex 1 Meeting Room, located at 53 East Mound Street in Knox.
The purpose of this session is for the purpose of an orientation of its members on their roles and responsibilities as public officials.
The announcement for the meeting explicitly states that this is not a formal public hearing, and no pending petitions, specific properties, or “public business” will be discussed during this meeting. Additionally, no testimony will be taken, and no official action or voting will occur.
The purpose of this meeting is solely for educational and administrative training regarding Board procedures, ethics, and Indiana statutory requirements.
The public is invited to attend this training session.
