Starke County Coroner’s statistics for March

The Starke County Coroner’s office recently released its statistics from the month of March.

According to the report, during the month of March the coroner’s office responded to 10 calls total.

For eight of the ten cases, the cause of death was listed as Natural Causes.

The other two cases are still pending.

So far this year, all of the cases the Starke County Coroner’s Office has dealt with were due to natural causes, except the cases still pending.

Other listed causes for death include suicide, drug overdose, an accident or other, a motor vehicle accident, a homicide, or undetermined.

Including the calls during the month of March and the pending cases, the county coroner has handled 26 cases this year so far.
