The Starke County Local Emergency Planning Committee, or LEPC, will be holding a regular meeting this upcoming Monday, April 20th.
The meeting will be held at 1pm Central Time at the meeting room of the Annex 1 building, located at 53 East Mound Street in Knox.
Under the Old Business section of the agenda, the committee will plan a date for its next meeting, as well as discuss weather and training updates, including a needs assessment for 2025.
Bylaws will be reviewed, as well as Tier II and LEPC Plan Updates, as well as goals for the committee moving forward.
Under New Business, the committee members will discuss exercise planning for this year, as well as festival and activities. A meeting date will be set for the Communications Committee, and discussion will be held in regards to 2026 training needs assessment report backs.
After updates from various county agencies, and a roundtable discussion, the meeting will be adjourned.
The public is invited to attend this meeting, which will also be streamed via Zoom.
