The Town of Hamlet made an announcement that it will be flushing fire hydrants today, Monday May 4th.
The hydrant flushing is expected to begin around 7am Central Time.
Town officials advise residents of Hamlet that if they experience murky water, to let it run until it is clear.
Murky water is a normal part of hydrant flushing.
