The City of Knox Police Department announced upcoming dates for golf cart inspections.
Knox residents are reminded that 2025 golf cart permits do expire on May 31st of this year, so stickers need to be renewed for carts that will be driven after that date.
The inspection dates are May 16th and 17th from 1-4pm Central Time, and May 23rd and 24th from 1-4pm Central Time. Those getting inspections need to bring proof of insurance and their drivers’ license.
The fee is $25 for a daytime permit, or $30 for a day and night time permit.
The announcement reminds citizens that permits are required to operate golf carts in the town of Knox, and thanks people for helping to keep the community safe.
