
The Pulaski County Council will be holding a regular meeting this upcoming Monday, May 11th.
The meeting will be held at 6pm Eastern Time at the Pulaski County Courthouse, located at 112 East Main Street in Winamac.
There will be a section of the meeting for public comment, before council members hear a request from the Sheriff to purchase a jail transport vehicle.
Councilors will vote on the approval of minutes from two meetings in April, including a regular session and an executive session.
The council will hear three requests for additional funding, including:
- $2,400 request from the Prosecutor, to Equipment (Pre-Trial Diversion)
- $45,000 request from the Sheriff, from Inmate Medical Co-Pay to Medical
- $96,000 request from the Sheriff, from Federal Transport to Vehicles
Board members will then discuss 2027 budgets, as well as appointments to the Area Plan Commission. After any other business that may come before the board, the meeting will be adjourned.
