Starke County Economic Development Foundation has partnered with Ivy Tech Community College to present a skills training course for those interested in Early Childhood Education.
The course is in Health, Safety, and Nutrition, and will be an 8-week session that runs from June 8th through July 31st.
Those wishing to attend the class must provide their own transportation to the early childhood setting that they are assigned. Attendees must be at least 15 years old and meet the personnel requirements for early care and education licensing. This is a non-credit skills training opportunity.
The cost for the course is $466, with a potential for Scholarship funding for eligible attendees.
