
All three public schools in Starke County have announced free summer meal programs for students.
At Knox, free healthy meals will be served from June 2nd through July 2nd. Breakfast will be served from 8-9am and lunch from 10:30-11:50am, at the Knox Elementary School building located at #2 Redskin Trail in Knox. These meals are free for kids ages 18 and under, and there is no registration required.
North Judson will be offering free meals beginning today, May 27th. Free meals will be available through June 27th, Monday through Friday. Breakfast will be served from 7:30am to 8:15am, and lunch from 10:45am to 11:30am. Meals at North Judson will be served at the North Judson-San Pierre Elementary School, located at 809 West Talmer Avenue in Judson. No registration is required, and these meals are available for kids under the age of 18.
Oregon-Davis School Corporation’s free summer meal program is also for those ages 18 or under, and meals will be served at Oregon-Davis Elementary School, located at 5860 North 750 East in Hamlet.
At Oregon Davis, the free meal program will run June 1st through July 2nd, and July 27th through 31st, Monday through Friday.
Breakfast will be served from 7:45 – 8:15am, and lunch from 11:30am to noon.
