Free Safe Kids Day in Winamac June 28

A press release from Franciscan Health shares details about a free Safe Kids Day to take place on Sunday, June 28 from 3 to 6 p.m. Eastern at the Pulaski County Fairgrounds in Winamac.

The release states:

Safe Kids Day is a time to celebrate kids, prevent injuries and save lives. The event puts a focus on a variety of areas, including fire safety, child passenger safety, medication safety, water safety and safe sleep.

Bike helmet fittings will also be conducted along with CPR and first aid demonstrations. Additionally, information on concussions will be shared.

Attendees will be able to take part in exciting activities, receive giveaways as well as meet local heroes and enjoy the Pulaski County 4H Fair.

Stitch and Bingo from Bluey will take part in a Meet & Greet.

In addition, various community organizations will have booths set up with representatives providing information.

Safe Kids Day is a collaboration between Franciscan Health Trauma Services, Safe Kids Northwest Indiana, Safe Kids Worldwide, the Starke County Community Foundation, the Pulaski County Health Department and 1st Choice Insurance Services.
