The Food Bank of Northern Indiana shared an announcement about a mobile food distribution taking place today in La Porte.
This mobile food distribution will take place from 10-11am Central Time today, while supplies last. It will be at the First Church of God, located at 2020 East Lincolnway in La Porte.
Assorted food items will be offered at this drive-through event free of charge. Items are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last, for those in need of food assistance. There is a limit of one box/bag per household.
Those attending should remain in their vehicles and open the trunk to receive items. There will be a separate area available for self-loading if your trunk does not open.
This event will serve 150 households and is sponsored by the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi.
