The Indiana Department of Transportation is holding a public information meeting this evening in relation to a study they are conducting in La Porte and St. Joseph counties.
This meeting will take place this evening, Tuesday June 16th, at New Prairie High School, which is located at 5333 North Cougar Road in New Carlisle. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 5:30pm Central Time/6:30pm Eastern Time and will be in the school auditorium, through Door S1. There will be a presentation to begin at 6pm Central.
The study is part of the Indiana Department of Transportation Planning and Environment Linkages (or PEL) and will examine corridor needs on State Road 2 between US Highway 20 in La Porte County, and US Highway 20/31 in St. Joseph County.
The ProPEL SR 2 Study Team is seeking input from residents and local stakeholders around the affected areas, to help identify current needs and to define the vision for the future of the corridor.
The presentation will also be livestreamed, and a recording of the livestream will be posted to INDOT’s YouTube page after the meeting.
