Pulaski County Joint Session and Council Meeting on June 8

There will be a joint session between the Pulaski County Commissioners and Councilors to take place this upcoming Monday, June 8th. That meeting will be followed by a Pulaski County Council meeting.

The joint session is scheduled to begin at 5pm Eastern Time, and will take place at the Pulaski County Courthouse; located at 112 East Main Street in Winamac.

During the meeting, councilors and commissioners will discuss the approval and signing of its joint minutes from April 13th, as well as Executive minutes from May 6th of this year.

Discussion will be held on the Economic Development First Amendment, and a part-time office admin for Probation.

After any other discussion that may come before councilors and commissioners, the meeting will be adjourned.

Following that meeting, or at 6pm Eastern Time, the Pulaski County Council will hold a regular meeting.

Council members will discuss project support funding with the Community Development Commission, and a jail shower architect with the Sheriff.

There are multiple transfers and additionals listed on the agenda:

  • Health: $1,500 from Insurance to Printing/Advertising and $2,500 from Computer Supplies to Medical / Dental
  • Probation: $15,000 from Youth Service Programming to Part-Time Office Administration and Overtime.
  • EMA: $900 from DRMO to Equipment Repair.
  • Highway: $2,510.50 from Salt to Service/Maintenance, $3,000 from Gas and Oil to Mechanic OT, and $3,000 from Professional Services to Superintendent OT.
  • Prosecutor: $1,000 from Overtime to Equipment Repair.

Under Additionals, two items are listed:

  • CDC: $60,000 ($90,000) to Economic Development
  • Sheriff: $36,450 from Federal Housing to Professional Services.

There is also a section of the agenda labeled Advertised Additionals, and under that section is listed $2,400 to Equipment (Pre-Trial Diversion) for the Prosecutor, and $45,000 from Inmate Medical Co-Pay to Medical for the Sheriff.

Councilors will discuss EMS longevity and any other business that may come before them, before adjourning the meeting.
