The Starke County Commissioners and Starke County Council will be holding a joint executive session this upcoming Monday, June 29th.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 3pm Central Time, and will take place in the Annex 1 meeting room, located at 53 East Mound Street in Knox.
In accordance with Indiana codes, it has been shared that the purpose of this meeting is to discuss strategy regarding the initiation of litigation or litigation that is pending or has been specifically threatened in writing.
Immediately following the joint executive session, the Starke County Commissioners will hold a separate executive session.
According to the notice, and in accordance with Indiana codes, it has been shared that the purpose of this meeting is to receive information concerning alleged misconduct involving an individual over whom the governing body has jurisdiction.
As a reminder, executive sessions are not open to the public, and no final action may be taken during an executive session.
