Applications open for Indiana Arts Commission Fall Arts Project Support program

Nonprofit organizations and public entities across Indiana can apply for grant funding through the Indiana Arts Commission’s Fiscal Year 2027 Fall Arts Project Support program.

The grant program provides funding for specific arts-related activities, including one-time events, theatrical productions, exhibitions, educational workshops, art classes, and other related projects designed to expand access to the arts.

Eligible organizations may apply for grants of up to $4,000. The Indiana Arts Commission stated that there is no matching fund requirement, and funded projects must take place between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2027.

Applications for the Arts Project Support program will be accepted through 11:59pm Eastern Time on September 3rd of this year. Organizations may receive one Arts Project Support grant per fiscal year, and applications must be submitted through the Indiana Arts Commission’s online grant system.

According to the commission, the program is intended to increase access to arts opportunities throughout Indiana by supporting projects in communities across the state.

The Indiana Arts Commission is also seeking members of the public to serve as volunteer grant reviewers. Reviewers evaluate applications, assign scores, and provide comments to help determine funding recommendations.
